Correcting Misinformation
1. Debunking yet another piece of Russian propaganda. A THREAD. 1/

On October 12, the FSB reported on the prevention of two acts of sabotage. They were allegedly committed by Ukrainian agents who entered Russia through Estonia. One was “detained” in the Bryansk region, the other — in the Moscow region, with two “Igla” MANPADS. 2/

2. To make the detention look more dynamic, it was filmed simultaneously from several angles. The first image shows that after both minibuses stop, there is a distance between them, after the arrest of the “saboteur” there is no longer any distance (second) photo. 4/ pic.twitter.com/N8enDYOVk0

3. The FSB also boasted about “solving” the Crimean Bridge sabotage case. As one of the pieces of evidence, the Russians presented an X-ray image of a truck that was allegedly mined. But the truck is missing one rear axle. 5/

4. All the high-profile “solving” and “detentions” are aimed at maintaining a high degree of anti-Ukrainian hysteria in Russia and making sure that the Ukrainians are seen as enemies and terrorists. However, these mistakes show the helplessness of Russian fakers. 7/

United against Russia’s hostile actions, the @UN General Assembly vote is a clear sign that Putin is isolated on the international stage.
We stand with Ukraine 🇬🇧🇺🇦
